Incentive to go faster?

I'm signing up for the wrong races. I want to race against (with?) him:

Yowza. Matthew McConaughey at the Malibu Celebrity Sprint race (1/2 mi swim, 18 mi bike, 4 mi run). JLo finished in 2:23, but according to People magazine, "Lopez was accompanied along the way by her trainer Gunnar Peterson, who was not racing himself, but was there to help out." Along what way? The course? WTF?!

Do you think it is a coincidence that his initials are MM? He is as yummy as M+M's (if not yummier!)

JLO ya WTF...she is full of drama...getting mad that other celeb Mom's were getting all the attention because they got skinny like in 2 DAYS....she wanted the attention because she was doing a TRI...are you kidding me!!! drown already :)

Can you believe I was in the Malibu area - within driving distance of this race? Kicking myself, yes. Mostly because the course looked fabulous as we drove by...

I only found out about some of the celebrity racers after the fact.

If you get a chance - check out MM's times - they are pretty impressive.

Big sigh.

Does he do lifesaving techniques in case I drown? If you join me in New Orleans 70.3 maybe we will carry beads with us during the tri and throw them to him if he will so oblige us with other great shots. He is a bit of a weird bird but sure looks nice!

JLo should have been DQ'd for having her trainer by her side the whole time. What a diva!!

Jennifer C is right...MM is a strange guy, but still nice to look at!! I don't care how cold that water might be...the man doesn't need to wear that wetsuit :-)

ha ha ha hilarious, he was out here recently! If you were behind him on the run and had a ton of energy left would you pass him or stay behind and stare at his bum? Too funny, I would try to beat him for sure, then stand in all his finish line and post race photos...

LOL! That's a good idea! I'd grab his hand though and raise it up at the finish line like we had raced together.
